A  Welcome Message…

Dear Friend,

Welcome to Faithful 30. 

I am equally surprised that Age 30 calls for a website and all the unlikely pomp but what do you do when on a morning (3rd November, 2021) after an all night Communion with “The Health of my Countenance” & “The Strength of My Heart”, you’re having a shower to prepare for work and He says ‘make a website’ for Age 30?

Me: Website? 

Him: Yes. 

Me: What should it look like? 

Him: Like the plans You’ve been making. 

Me: I just want to sing 30 hymns

Him: Then do a 30 day countdown as you release the hymns one after the other. 

Me: What if I don’t live till the day? 

Him: Psalm 118:17

Me: What should the website be called?

Him: You already know 

Me: Yes I do! Faithful30! 

Me: Is the domain available? I’ll check when I’m out of the shower 

Me: Wow! You mean I should go ahead with this? You approve? 

Him:…. 

Me: Thank You! Thank You, Ishi! I love You. You know I do. 

I then hurry through the shower with joy and excitement as Matt Boswell and Matt Papa’s song, “Loving kindness” comes up on my earphones. I’m dancing as I finish up with my shower and as I return to my room, I head straight to my phone for a Google Search, “buy domain name.” 

I type in “faithful30.com”, it is available to become my very own, I then go on to create a folder titled “30”, on my Notes App to write down the inspiration as they came in for this project and behold, a folder titled 30 had already been created (this was subconsciously done somewhere in the past I don’t currently recall and was done with no intention!) Oh well, the rest, they say, is history! 

Welcome to Faithful 30. 

My favourite attribute of God is His faithfulness. One of my favourite verses that displays this attribute is where God is playing a game with us and ‘loses’ because He becomes entangled in the bondage of Himself. 

So let’s play this game. The only time God ever loses to us. I call it, The Cause and Effect Game. 

INSTRUCTION: Say what the result of a given action will be. 

EXAMPLE: If something goes up? It Will come down. 

SO LET’S BEGIN… 

“If we die with Him?”

We will also live with Him. 

“If we endure hardship?”

We will reign with Him. 

“If we deny Him?”

He will deny us. 

“If we are unfaithful?”

This is my God. The God of my Life. My everlasting Father and faithful God. The only One who makes my heart beat faster. The only One who deserves my sleep and my entire life. 

Lord, I just want to publicly acknowledge that You are faithful and I love you very deeply. You are not too faithful. You are not very faithful. You are faithful and that is the beauty of You. Faithful and True. The same God from billions of years ago is my God! Hahahaha! This makes me want to laugh and jump and scream and shout! 

Ahhhh. I love You, Lord! Thank You for 30 years. 

Hitherto have You helped me. I am blessed. I am grateful!
